Robert E. Wallin, 92, Mooresville, died April 2, 2009, in St. Francis Hospital South Campus.  Mr. Wallin was born February 19, 1917, in Broadhead, Kentucky, the son of the late James Thomas “J.T.” and Ollie (Payne) Wallin. 

 

Mr. Wallin was a processor for Public Service Indiana for 35 years, retiring in 1979.  He enjoyed carpentry and took pride in having built his own home.  

 

Mr. Wallin was preceded in death by his son, Marvin Wallin; brothers, Cecil and Walter Wallin.  

 

Survivors include his wife, Eudell (McNelly) Wallin; son, Homer Wallin (April) of Mooresville; 7 Grandchildren; 6 Six Great Grandchildren. 

 

Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2009, 1 p.m., in the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, with calling there from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 5, 2009. Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
