Marion Rose (Williamson) Jacobs, 83, Mooresville, died May 20, 2009, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Mooresville. Marion was born September 9, 1925, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of the late Robert R. and Mildred A. (Bills) Williamson.

 

Mrs. Jacobs had been a dietician at Miller’s Merry Manor in Mooresville and had also been employed in the cafeteria at the Allison Division of General Motors. Mrs. Jacobs had been a member of Lifeline Baptist Church. She enjoyed being active at the Mooresville Senior Center and playing in the kitchen band there.  

 

Mrs. Jacobs was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lawrence Jacobs, Sr.; son, Robert Lawrence Jacobs, Jr.; brother, Gerry O. Williamson; sister, Joan Sechman; step-sister, Darlene Holtzclaw.    

 

Survivors include her daughters, Sheri E. Gilliam of Mooresville, Millie J. Ruple of Crawfordsville, Julie A. Parson of Mooresville, Cindy L. Bailey of Mooresville; step-brothers, Charlie Harvey of Mooresville, Robert Harvey of Mooresville; step-sisters, Dianna Bunch of Mooresville, Geneva Joan Shank of Illinois; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. 

 

Friends and family will gather on Friday, May 22, 2009, 3:30 to 5 p.m, followed by a graveside service in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.  Ricky Brown will officiate.
