Nannie C. Bledsoe, 88, Mooresville, died May 27, 2009, in Community Hospital South, Indianapolis.  Ms. Bledsoe was born July 29, 1920, in Lenore City, Tennessee, the daughter of the late John Quillen and Paulie (Robinette) Bledsoe.  

 

Ms. Bledsoe enjoyed caring for her home and loved her animals.  She was also a great cook.  Nannie was very devoted to her family and was active in the rearing of two of her special nieces.  

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Oscar, George, John “Jr.”, and Curtis Bledsoe.  

 

Survivors include her sisters,     Lucille Lundy of Mooresville, Indiana, Lula M. Dorris of Franklin, Kentucky, and Mary M. Danner of Duffield, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  

 

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009, 10 a.m., in Province Funeral Home, Pennington Gap, Virginia, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., on Friday, May 29, 2009.  Burial will follow in Robins Cemetery, Pattonsville, Virginia. Local funeral arrangements are being handled by the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville.
