Bobby D. Rumple, 67, Ladoga, Indiana, died June 6, 2009, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born June 16, 1941, in Putnam County, Indiana, to the late Wayne Lowell and Vera (Greene) Rumple.
Bobby worked as a truck driver for Consolidated Freight. In addition, he had driven for various companies, including WalMart, Terrell Trucking, and Ed Rose Trucking. He enjoyed NASCAR, playing games, music, and spending time with his grandchildren. He proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Bobby was preceded in death by brothers, Larry and Kenny Rumple.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred “Millie” (Jacobs) Rumple, they were united in marriage August 5, 1966; children, Randy R. Rumple of Camby, Amy Bailey of New Ross, Keith Rumple, and Kimberly Rumple; sisters, Julia Wells of Hendricks County and Virginia Clay of Indianapolis; 7 Grandchildren.
Friends and family will gather on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, 3 to 7 p.m., in the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville. Graveside services will begin at 3 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2009, in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville. |
