Clarence C. Sanders, 81, Mooresville, died June 7, 2009, in Clarian West Medical Center.  Mr. Sanders was March 25, 1928, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the youngest son of the late Charles W. and Rose (Bartlett) Sanders. 

 

Mr. Sanders was self employed in the heating and air conditioning business for many years. 

 

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Chuck, Delbert, Kenneth, Roy, and Pat Sanders. 

 

Survivors include his wife, Lois (Lane) Sanders, they were united in marriage November 23, 1947; sons, Ronnie Sanders (Cindy) of Greenwood, Danny Sanders of Mooresville, Kevin Sanders (Phyllis)of Mooresville; daughters, Sheila Sanders (Frank) of Maryland, Crystal Herrera (Ernest) of Monrovia, Dawn Thompson (Rocky) of Mooresville; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren. 

 

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009, 12 p.m., in the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, with calling there from 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
