Harold "Dennis" Lawrence
Harold “Dennis” Lawrence, 60, Camby, died June 7, 2009, in the Richard Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis.  He was born January 21, 1949, in Indianapolis, the son of the late Harold D. and Bertha C. (Bernitt) Lawrence.  
 
Mr. Lawrence worked as a self-employed carpenter.  He proudly served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War.  He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, movies, and especially enjoyed nature.  He also took great pride in his grandchildren. 
 
Survivors include his children, Nathan Lawrence and Charlotte Lucero; step-daughter, Kris Kenworthy; brother, Steve Lawrence (Brenda) of Mooresville; sisters, Laura Lawrence of Camby, Marjorie Lawrence of Camby, Linda Reinking (Kirk) of Clearwater, Florida, Nancy Bratcher (Daryl) of Coatesville, Janice Woods (Robert) of Mooresville; grandchildren, Truman, Evelyn, and Iliana Lucero; Andre` and Kerien Kenworthy; canine companion, Daisy Duke. 
 
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at 12 p.m., in the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery, West Newton, Indiana.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the Morgan County Humane Society.
