Helen Jarrett, 74, Centerton, formerly of Indianapolis, died June 13, 2009, in Meadow Lakes, Mooresville.  Mrs. Jarrett was born September 4, 1934, in Kentucky, to the late Julius and Stella (Martin) Means. 

Mrs. Jarrett was a cook for many years in the Wayne Township School System. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jarrett. 

Survivors include her sons, Robert Jarrett of Trafalgar, Ronny Jarrett of Franklin, Donny Jarrett of Centerton; daughters, Linda Gosman of Franklin Township, Beverly Hornaday of Indianapolis; brothers, Sonny, Donald, and Lloyd Means; sisters, Dude Godby and Mary Dodson; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will not be observed.  Graveside service will be on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, 10 a.m., in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, Indiana.  Carlisle and Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville is handling arrangements.
