Billy G. Duncan, 71, Mooresville, died December 26, 2008, in Morgan Hospital & Medical Center.  Mr. Duncan was born November 7, 1937, in Mooresville, to the late Gerna Ellsworth and Evon Alma (Poe) Duncan.

Mr. Duncan was a self-employed carpenter. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gerna Duncan, Jr.

Survivors include his sons, Billy Epple, Jr. of Tennessee, Chris Epple of Indianapolis; daughters, Norma Jean Epple of Dugger, Indiana, Dorothea Epple of Kentucky, brothers, Jacky L. Duncan of Mooresville, Macky W. Duncan of Texas; sister, Marilyn Griffin of Martinsville; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.   

Visitation will not be observed.  Funeral services will be held privately.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville.
