Elizabeth "Betty" Peck

Elizabeth “Betty” Peck, went home to be with her Lord on September 27, 2008. Betty was born on June 17, 1918, in Manhattan, Kansas, to the late Charles and Martha (Smith) Titus.

Mrs. Peck was an administrative assistant at Fresno City Community College District from 1969 until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of the Mooresville Church of God. She was a kind and good person who will be missed dearly by family and friends.

Mrs. Peck was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Pat Frederick and a brother, Charles Brown Titus.

Survivors include her children, John Morris (Nancy) of Yorba Linda, CA, Roger Mooris (Evelyn) of Gallup, NM, Martha Ann Peck of Mooresville, IN, Marguerite “Maggy” Fisher (Matt) of Monrovia, IN, grandchildren, Shannah Kasperski of CA, Scott Morris of CA, Brian Morris of NM; great grandchildren, Breanna and Ashley.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will begin at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 2, 2008, in the Mooresville Church of God, 218 E. Main St., Mooresville. Pastor Jeremy Towne will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bible Study Fellowship International, 19001 Huebner Road, San Antonio, TX 78258. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville.

My condolences go to Betty’s family, especially Martha Ann & Maggy. I worked with Betty at the SCCCD office. I envied Betty for her sewing skills. I remember Betty telling me about her sewing or knitting projects at home, such as lined drapes, clothing attire, sweaters, etc. She is with the Lord now. God Bless the Peck family.
