Carl A. Haney, Sr., 47, Mooresville, died October 7, 2008, in Mooresville.  Carl was born April 12, 1961, in Beech Grove, Indiana. 

Carl was employed with the International Laborers Union Local #120 for a number of years.  In addition, he did concrete work independently around Mooresville.  He was a member of the Victors Conservation Club and enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Jeannette (Perry) Haney. 

Survivors include his wife, Kathy (Sanford) Haney, to whom he was united in marriage on January 9, 1987; father, Carlis Haney of Eminence; son, Carl A. Haney, Jr. of Monrovia; daughter, Tracy Williamson of Mooresville; sisters, Linda M. VanBlaricum of Martinsville, Anita R. Chamberlain of Kentucky, Debra L. Baker of Missouri, Sandy S. Belcher of Eminence, Melissa A. Partain of Illinois, Shannon Haney of Mooresville, and Lena M. Amrhein of Indianapolis; grandchildren, James Williamson, Jr. and Christian Williamson. 

Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m., Friday, October 10, 2008, in the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 p.m.  Pastor Shelly Zook will officiate.  Cremation will follow the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
